March 6, 2025MUUSJA has joined the Minnesotans for Equal Rights Coalition and the fight to adopt an Equal Rights Amendment in our state’s constitution! Did you know that the language of the ERA has been updated? It includes all people and offers protection against discrimination based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, or sex, including pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.

Rally in the Capitol Rotunda at 1:15 pm. Legislative meetings scheduled throughout the day. Join MUUSJA and other UUs for this Rally Day!

Reproductive Freedom Lobby Day & Rally with MUUSJA on March 10
March 1, 2025Tell state legislators they need to do everything they can to protect reproductive health, freedom, and abortion access in Minnesota. Rally in the Capitol Rotunda at 1:30 pm. Legislative meetings scheduled throughout the day. Rev. Terri will be in attendance and when you register, you'll get information about how to meet up with her and other UUs for greater impact and companionship.

Accurate information about our bodies, sexuality, and relationship dynamics helps combat systemic inequality related to gender, sexual orientation, ability, and race. Promoting bodily autonomy, consent, and respectful interactions across diverse identities, ultimately contributes to a more equitable society; it can also address issues like sexual violence prevention and reproductive justice by educating people on their rights and agency within sexual situations.
