April 9, 2026

Sexuality education is a form of social justice, and OWL (Our Whole Lives) sexuality education really is for our whole lives! OWL uses interactive workshops and lively discussions to explore a variety of sexuality-related topics. The range of topics to be covered may include sexual values, communication, relationships, boundaries, fantasy, diversity, identity, aging, body image, and pleasure. Join us as we explore together what it means to be a spiritual and sexual being.

Neighborhood Food Project

This Sunday is our monthly collection day for the Neighborhood Food Project (NFP).

Please bring groceries/items to Lake Fellowship. We have a few “Green/orange Bags” at the A-frame, so feel free to bring your donations in your own bag(s) from home and fill up a bag at Lake Fellowship.  WeCAN also takes checks if you want to make a cash donation, which they use to buy perishables.  Last month Lake Fellowship members donated $125.00, which was the largest cash donation we gave WeCAN food shelf!

MUUSJA's UU the VOTE Launch

March 31, 2026

Democracy is more than elections. It is created through the ways we show up for one another, build trust, and live our values in public life. As we approach the 2026 elections, Unitarian Universalists are gathering to ignite solidarity, deepen community, and reimagine what democracy can become when we center love and act together.

How do we embody Paying Attention?

March 12, 2026

Dear LFUU Members and Friends,

I asked myself, how do we as a congregation embody this month’s theme: Paying Attention?

My first thought was of my conversation with a visitor after the program last Sunday. She had visited large churches, and everyone left right after the program. She liked that we stayed after ours, so she got to talk with people.

Does Giving Make Us Resilient?

February 18, 2026

Dear LFUU Members and Friends,

I have been so inspired by the resilience of Minnesotans! Those targeted and those supporting and standing up for them. For not giving in or giving up. Just giving. I’ve read that that’s what resilience is.

Minnesotans exemplify this month’s theme: Embodying Resilience. We GIVE! We are usually first in the nation for philanthropy, volunteering, and civic engagement. The federal administration didn’t do its research when it chose to target Minnesota.
