Our spring auction was held on April 25th, 2026. The theme was Earth day! Lake Fellowship was decorated with this theme. This event had both a silent and live auction, and all winners had to be present to win (not a virtual event, this time). We focused on donations from friends and members of Lake Fellowship, and everyone was welcome to attend and bid on items.
The evening was enjoyed by all who attended. Mike Eye did a fantastic job as the auctioneer, explaining how we bid on items, telling jokes and moving the program along. We are fortunate to have him in this role.
We had delicious snack food prepared by Helene and John, and Larry H was our mixologist (bar tender) for the night. Peggy helped set the menu and pick up the food with Helene.
Beau obtained the decorations and was assisted in putting them up by Tom and others.
Peggy and Terry kept track of who bought what, collected payments and handed out receipts at the end of the event -- no small task.
Several members stayed and helped clean up, thank you all for doing this.
We collected the following amount:
Bar: $130.00
Auction: $7468.00
Grand total: $7598.00
The cost of food and alcohol (about $300), have not yet been deducted from this total.
We all had lots of fun participating in the auction.
