Dear generous Lake Fellowship members and friends,
Sunday, May 4th, is the last orange bag (NFP) non perishable food donation until September. You will hear about how much we donated (#’s of food, $$, personal items) over the past 8 months at the annual meeting, as well as plans to make donations easier starting this September. I will not be attending the annual meeting, so let me take this opportunity to thank you all for your giving spirit!
For anyone who hasn’t donated before and wants to this Sunday, just bring in a bag or any amount of non perishable food items and/or personal items for WeCAN’s mobile food shelf. The list below has the highest need items, so whenever possible, donate items from the list.
I want to thank Peggy and Larry for transporting our donated food to WeCAN. If Peggy is willing, she can share their experiences and WeCAN’s reactions.
If you are unable to attend this Sunday, do like the Wendts did and give them to a friend to bring the bag of food for you …..thanks McGlynns.
I will send out further info on our changes in August and look forward to seeing you at social events over the summer.
