Lake Fellowship members and friends, it's time to make our voices heard. We have two important events lined up and we would love to have you join us!
Legislative Session Kickoff - Tuesday
On Tuesday, January 14th (tomorrow!), join us at the Minnesota Capitol for the start of the legislative session. Let's show our elected officials that we’re paying attention to their work and are a voice for justice and equity! Meet us at 10 am outside the rotunda to get supplies. Join the ERA Rally and the Rise & Repair gathering. We’ll then move upstairs to greet legislators as they enter Chambers at 11:30 am. The People’s March - Saturday
Join us on Saturday, January 18th, for the People’s March! Unitarian Universalists from around the state are coming together to live our values of justice, equity, and compassion. Here are the key details:
- UU Meet-up: 11:00-11:15 AM at Cathedral Hill Park
- Pre-March Rally: 11:30 AM at Saint Paul College (235 Marshall Avenue, Saint Paul, MN ~ Parking Lots D & E)
- March: Begins at Noon, from Saint Paul College to the Minnesota State Capitol
- Capitol Rally: 12:30–1:30 PM (on the Capitol steps at 75 Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN)
Be sure to arrive early to find parking near Saint Paul College. We are coordinating carpools to help everyone get there together. If you need a ride or can offer one, please email info@lakefellowship.org.
