Widening the Circle

To set the groundwork for February's theme of "Widening the Circle" Lake Fellowship member Marnie Karger will lead a program exploring the idea that "there is no self, and there is no 'other'." Many of us believe that we are all connected, but in these divided times, just how tight is that connection? What changes in our attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors if we look at humanity not as being connected, but as being one? 

Working from a short story by author Andy Weir, we will dive into these ideas, share our thoughts in small groups, and reflect as a larger group.
