War & Democracy in Ancient Greece

Today, we welcome Lake Fellowship member Andrew Lyman to share a drop in the vast ocean of his passion about Ancient Greece. Andrew will present facts and fascinating tidbits about hoplite battle tactics as well as the seeds of democracy, both of which have evolved into elements of our modern day warfare and governing systems, respectively. Indeed, without the Ancient Greek methods of warfare, democracy would not have evolved as it did.
