Description

Lake Fellowship member and free software advocate, Matthew Tift, will present his thoughts on how the open source culture and community relate to Unitarian Universalism.

Noted Unitarian Universalist and creator of the World Wide Web, Tim Berners-Lee, once wrote, "when you look at the way Unitarians feel society works, and the way a lot of the Internet and the Web works, it might be fun to draw some comparisons." In this program, we will do just that, exploring some of the similarities between the Web -- as well as other free software communities --  and Unitarian Universalist communities.
