Guest Speaker: Sarah Walker

Sarah Walker is an activist and reformer on the rights of women and girls within the criminal justice system. The increase in females in prison, and the fact that the prison services cannot keep up with the demand, females face unique challenges and experiences that go largely unrecognized in the male dominated criminal justice system.  Walker created a list of recommendations on the treatment of women when incarcerated and has connected women with employment opportunities.
