COVID-19 Update

Like many Unitarian congregations, Lake Fellowship UU has suspended face-to-face programming until further notice and the building itself is closed. There will not be programs, activities or rental of our building for the foreseeable future. We will announce updates and changes to this plan as they become available. Lake Fellowship UU will continue meeting virtually.

Stay safe and keep in touch with one another.

What Can We Learn from the Triumphs and Tragedies of the Mediterranean?

With February's monthly theme of "Trust", there will be some focus on broken treaties, and in particular, a tendency for northern countries to stereotype southern ones for "failing to abide by agreements."  This, in turn, allows northern countries to break agreements preemptively.  Presented by John Watkins who is a Distinguished McKnight Professor of English with affiliate appointments in History and Italian Studies at the U of M where he teaches courses on Mediterranean Literature and Culture.
