Like many Unitarian congregations, Lake Fellowship UU has suspended face-to-face programming until further notice and the building itself is closed. There will not be programs, activities or rental of our building for the foreseeable future. We will announce updates and changes to this plan as they become available. Lake Fellowship UU will continue meeting virtually.
Lake Fellowship welcomes guest speaker Murali Rao who will be speaking to us about fighting climate change. His talk promotes clean air by going solar, discusses health effects of air pollution, and the economics of going solar.
Dr. Rao is a physician who worked at Duke and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). He retired in 2009, and since then has been active in promoting solar projects as a way to combat air pollution and reduce health effects associated with pollution.
Today's meeting is via Zoom, and co-hosted by Lake Fellowship members Kristin Fulkerson and Terry McGlynn. You can join the group starting at 10:15 a.m. and the program will begin at 10:30. To join, please check your email for the Zoom link, or request a link by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
