"American Politics in the Age of Polarization: 1976-2016" - How and why has the US become polarized? What are the implications of that and what might be done to address it? As part of this month's theme of Wonder (grace, being present, etc.) it is important as UU's to understand what we can do to cross the divide and keep open minds when discussing political topics.
Our speaker is David Schultz who is a Professor at Hamline University in the Department of Political Science. David is a regular on WCCO and KARE local news called as an expert in many political topics. He is the Editor of Journal of Public Affairs Education (JPAE) and his latest book is entitled, Presidential Swing States: Why Only Ten Matter.
