Description

February's theme is Beloved Community, the notion popularized by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr for a society based on justice, equal opportunity, and love of one’s fellow human beings; a global vision in which all people can share in the wealth of the earth. For today's program, we'll learn more about Dr. King's vision, and hear different viewpoints from modern civil rights activists who are working to advance the goals of Beloved Community that may offer challenging shifts to our daily lives.

Today's meeting is via Zoom, and co-hosted by Lake Fellowship members Kristin Fulkerson and Terry McGlynn. You can join the group starting at 10:15 a.m. and the program will begin at 10:30. To join, please check your email for the Zoom link, or request a link by sending an email to info@lakefellowship.org. We'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please note: The original program scheduled for today has been postponed. Lake Fellowship member Don Penn will be back in early Spring to present his program about working toward unity as a divided country.
