Sex Ed is a social justice issue. Accurate information about our bodies, sexuality, and relationship dynamics helps combat systemic inequality related to gender, sexual orientation, ability, and race. Promoting bodily autonomy, consent, and respectful interactions across diverse identities, ultimately contributes to a more equitable society; it can also address issues like sexual violence prevention and reproductive justice by educating people on their rights and agency within sexual situations.
Adult OWL explores sexuality issues for adults of all ages, using values, communication skills, and spirituality. We build an understanding of healthy sexual relationships, affirm diversity, and help participants accept and affirm their own sexuality throughout their lives. This program is comprehensive and progressive, addressing sexuality with candor, sensitivity, and respect for adults’ wisdom and life experience. Become an adult OWL facilitator by attending the training hosted by First Unitarian Society (Minneapolis, MN) on April 25-27, 2025. Direct Registration Link is HERE.
