What stories do you want to be able to tell?

Dear LFUU Members and Friends,

I’m so proud and excited to tell my story about Lake Fellowship living our UU values!

Last week, Lake Fellowship members turned out in force at the state capitol to be a voice for justice and equity, side with the vulnerable, and show our elected officials we’re paying attention! Four of our members attended the ERA Rally and seven bundled up for the People’s March. At each of those, we had more members than any other UU congregation!!! And we’re one of the smallest! Let’s celebrate!

What stories do you want to be able to tell? About yourself? About our congregation?

What values do you want those stories to reflect?

How do you want to feel when you tell those stories?

Those are the questions we will be considering at our program on Sunday to explore how the spiritual practice of Story, this month’s theme, can help us live our UU values. It will be an interactive workshop; you’ll have the best experience if you attend in person at the A-Frame, though we will do our best to accommodate those on Zoom.

We all have our own stories, our own superpowers, our own gifts. We all have something to offer the world.

Dr. King followed his intentions with courage. We can too, in community.
