Please notice the shoe donation drive and contact Tim if you want to donate shoe(s) and are unable to deliver them. Tim will make arrangements to pick them up and deliver to WeCAN.

June 7, 2023   WeCAN Spring Fest Raises Over $68K   WeCAN hosted our first ever Spring Fest on May 4 at Pique Travel Event Center in Excelsior. Thanks to incredible community support, we raised over $68,000 to support our programs for low-income individuals and families in the 12 communities we serve. Thank you for your support!   Welcome Summer at Back Channel Brewing   Help us welcome summer at Back Channel Brewing in Spring Park on Tuesday, June 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. Put your name into a drawing for a free summer gift basket! A portion of sales that night will be donated to WeCAN at this Community Tuesday event. Stop by and have a cold one with us!   WeCAN is Collecting New/Gently Used Shoes   WeCAN is partnering with The Shoe Bus to collect new and gently used shoes from June 19 through July 17 at the WeCAN office, 5213 Shoreline Drive in Mound. Later this summer, The Shoe Bus will be onsite to provide school shoes to children who are served in our Ready-to-Learn school supply program. We will gladly accept shoes of any type in great shape that have a lot of wear left in them. Thank you for your support of this important program!   6th Annual Women's Golf Tourney to Benefit WeCAN   Timber Creek will host the 6th Annual Women's Charity Golf Tournament to benefit WeCAN on Saturday, July 22. Registration is now open for golfers for what is possibly the largest charity, women only, volunteer run, public tournament in the Midwest. Plus it's tons of fun!
