Mankato Powwow

At the Spring program where we discussed the Land Acknowledgement statement, Sharon suggested we consider a Fellowship field trip to the Mankato Powwow which promotes friendship between natives and non-natives.  The Celebrations/Social Activities Committee included this event on their survey to Fellowship members and there was high interest, so they’d like to communicate the date now so people can get it on their calendars.  

The tentative plan is to carpool and go there on Saturday, September 16th. It's about 1.25 hours from the A-frame. Here's the website with more info about the event: https://www.mahkatowacipi.org.  Details (including who is organizing) will be sent later.
