Join Minnesota Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Alliance (MUUSJA) for a special Trans Equity training with Gender Justice! As anti-trans fear-mongering increasingly targets trans people's existence in traditionally gender-separated spaces such as sports, bathrooms, and prisons, we need to know how to recognize these toxic narratives — and counter them while affirming trans humanity, dignity, and joy.
LFUU is carpooling to the Chaska No Kings Protest on March 28. We will meet at the A-frame at 12 noon. The event runs from 1-3 p.m. Bring a protest sign and a chair if you want.

People all across the country are gathering on this day for No Kings, a day of action to lift up democracy, justice, and worker power. Instead of bowing to authoritarianism, we will come together to tell a different story of America, rooted in freedom and dignity for all.
On Flag Day, Saturday, June 14, actions will take place all across the country during Donald Trump’s military parade in Washington, D.C. People will come together instead to center the story of America and lift up the pro-democracy and pro-worker movements. There's general information about the event on the No Kings website.
Our current system of animal agriculture generates as much greenhouse gas as the entire transportation sector, but few people are talking about it. Even if we stopped using fossil fuels today, emissions from our food system would still cause the Earth to exceed targets. Each of us are called to protect Earth and all beings from exploitation. This powerful covenant of interdependence challenges us to reflect deeply on how our everyday actions align with our faith. One critical area that is often overlooked is the connection between our food choices and the climate crisis.
