Unitarian Universalism promotes itself as a religious tradition where everyone is welcome and diversity of belief is assumed. This has created a safe home for many on their spiritual paths. But it can also create some uncertainty when we try to come together in community. How welcome are my beliefs? How open can I be about my Christian faith? my atheism? my Buddhism? And if I decide to label myself, then will I forever be limited to that label?
