The A-frame is available for public and private functions. If usage is requested by a non-member, a nominal usage fee may be charged. Examples of building usage include yoga classes, retreats, and scout meetings. Scheduling requests and the usage calendar are managed by the building manager.
Cost - $0
1. Half-day rental (4 hours - full facility) - $75, with $75 cleaning/damage deposit (fully or partially refundable provided facility is cleaned)
2. Full-day rental (8 or more hours - full facility) - $150 with $75 cleaning/damage deposit (fully or partially refundable provided facility is cleaned)
Conditions for rental:
a. All rentals cease at midnight and guests need to clear the building and the parking lot by that time and abide by local noise ordinances
b. Alcohol is NOT permitted to be served if alcohol is the primary purpose of the event (e.g. a wine-tasting would not be ok, but having wine as part of a wedding is fine for example)
c. The a-frame can NOT be rented for any activity considered inherently dangerous (e.g. karate lessons would NOT be permitted but a plant-sale would be for example)
d. If the renter requires use of the audio/visual system, one of the members will show the renter how to use it in advance. If they need on-site assistance, the charge is $25/hr with a 1-hour minimum
e. No rentals are available on Thursdays due to the regularly-scheduled meeting
f. Absolutely no pets can be on the grounds or in the facility at any time Renters will need to sign a rental agreement (available upon request).
