Music of Resistance: Larry McDonough and Richard Terrill

Sunday, February 4, 2018 - 10:30am to 12:00pm
Event Type:

Lake Fellowship is proud to welcome back performers Larry McDonough and Richard Terrill for a special program about the Music of Resistance. Blending songs with poetry, these two will emphasize the importance of our intentions and actions to resist injustice on our world.

When not playing his saxophone or writing poetry, Richard teaches in the MFA progam at Minnesota State University, Mankato as a Distinguished Faculty Scholar.

Larry, a lifelong musician, performs solo, in duo and trios, as well as with his group, the Larry McDonough Quartet. A former high school band director, he also works at Dorsey & Whitney, providing pro bono legal services for low income persons and nonprofits.
