Like many Unitarian congregations, Lake Fellowship UU has suspended face-to-face programming until further notice and the building itself is closed. There will not be programs, activities or rental of our building for the foreseeable future. We will announce updates and changes to this plan as they become available. Lake Fellowship UU will continue meeting virtually.
Today, Terry Anderson will continue our conversation around the theme of Expectation.
As someone who is uncomfortable with the saying you get what you expect, or your thoughts control your destiny, I am drawn to the metaphor of gardening. What are you growing in your life? What seeds are you planting? Are expectations like seeds that if they remain trapped in our mind they may never see the light of day if we don’t take action to plant them? How as a fellowship can we plant seeds that will grow and take root? To celebrate this theme during our harvest season please bring anything to share from your harvest, either metaphorically or literally. What have your seeds of expectations grown into?
Please join us for conversation, introspection, and meditation on these ideas.
